Alec Lawrence

Alec Lawrence is the founder and leader of the current Brotherhood of Mortis. Like those who came before him, he found a journal and spellbook of one of the members of a previous incarnation of the Brotherhood. Alec Lawrence is both a skilled scientist and a necromancer (the most adept necromancer of the Brotherhood). He has created a number of unique abominations, including scientific zombies, the Huskless, the Knarled, and Alec's harpies.

Alec has also undergone chemical augmentation himself, enabling him to go into a Mr. Hyde like transformation. However, he is unaware of the instability this has left on his mind, or the potential for him to transform during times of traumatic stress.

Alec is also responsible for turning John Morgan into The Render.

Stats

Lawful Evil, male human necromancer 6 (Anatomist). The anatomist, and many of Alec's spells, come from The Complete Book of Necromancers.

Inspiration

The Brotherhood of Mortis and related entities were inspired by the Playstation 1 Video Game Nightmare Creatures by Activision/Kalisto.
