Angela Foxglove[1] is the darklord and ruler of Vanitas. She is consumed with the vain desire to maintain her looks using the the Bath of the Morning Sun. The Bath is a powerful artifact that grants immense physical beauty and youth at the cost of a human sacrifice (specifically the blood sacrifice of men. But it only grants such beauty for 24 hours, after which Foxglove reverts to the appearance of a disfigured husk of increasing age every time she uses the Bath. In order to escape suspicion for her regular murders, she stays concealed most of the time in order to guard her secret.

Angela is (unknown to her) a wolfen, the daughter of a wolfwere named Jacninth and a vampyre named Richard Foxglove. Despite her revulsion for her bestial nature, she relies on her wolf form to kill victims for the Bath.

The ghost of Joy Foxglove, Angela's daughter, haunts her. Angela killed Joy in a panic to conceal the secret of the tub. Angela is also cursed to fall in love with paladins, only to see them become repulsed by her wolf transformation before she inevitably betrays them. Foxglove despises true love, something she is eternally denied and takes great joy in destroying it.

Sin considered Angela Foxglove to be one of his personal "creations".
