Bardan is an NPC and secondary antagonist from the module Hour of the Knife. In universe, he is a jackalwere and an illusionist, residing in Paridon. Officially, he serves as a huntsman employed by Sir Edmund Bloodsworth. Secretly, he procures victims for his master, who is actually the doppelganger known as Roja. Bardan is uncommonly smarter and more disciplined than the average jackalwere.[1] (This discipline is so uncanny that S.H. Williby, an expert on jackalweres and other shapechanging monsters, considers the idea of a jackalwere wizard to be a farce.)[2]
