Kiril Stoyanovich is an NPC from the 5th Edition module Curse of Strahd. He is the pack leader of the Children of Mother Night[1] and Bianca.[2]
Pack Leadership
Emil Toranescu created a rift in the pack by suggesting that the pack keep the children they kidnap alive and infecting them with lycanthropy to increase the pack's numbers. Kiril vehemently disagreed, believing the increased size represented too much of a responsibility and reliability, and Kiril ultimately settled the matter by appealing to Strahd. Emil was taken away to Castle Ravenloft and Kiril retained leadership, but the group still remains divided by Kiril's tactics.[1]
The Children of Mother Night represent the werewolves sent by Strahd into the Misty Forest of Faerun in the Werewolves in the Mists adventure hook. As long as Kiril lives, a peaceful solution to ending the werewolf raids is impossible. If Kiril is slain and Emil takes leadership, a negotiation can be made for the group to stop raiding Faerun.[3]
