The Spider Lady Portrait is a painting of a ravishingly beautiful woman with pale skin and dark hair embracing her lover in an attic. The Spider Lady Potrait is featured in the Night Gallery, and like most of the art displayed there, it ultimately tries to absorb the mind, body, and soul of those whom look upon it. The Spider Lady Portrait curses women whom look upon it with magnetic charisma of a kind that draws maddeningly unwanted attention from the opposite sex with the intent of making its victims seek shelter within the portrait as the only way to free themselves from the curse. If a woman should instead exploit her new found gifts, she is |turned into a red widow.[1]

One of its known victims includes Delilah, former friend of the Curator.[2]
