The Book of Names is an artifact in Castle Avernus that inscribes the life story of any visitor to Darkon, in the process effacing his or her memory of being a foreigner and replacing the lost memories with those proper to a native Darkonian. By the will of Azalin Rex, this process may be suspended. He has, for example, extended this courtesy to the current Nova Vaasan ambassador of Myar Hiregaard.
