Gregory (Familiar)

Gregory is the Dread Familiar of the Devoratrix Imogen Schlosser. By extension, he is linked in the same way to all other personas of the Red Haunt.

Background

When Imogen first summoned Gregory in Darkon, he was a living creature; a male cat. Viciously loyal to his mistress, he served as a combination of pampered pet and vicious guardian of his mistress's home in Il Aluk.

One night a thief broke into the house while the mistress was away in her guise as Charissa Schlosser. Protected as he was by Imogen's spells, Gregory attacked the intruder - who managed to bypass the magic and unceremoniously kicked him to death.

Rather than summon a new familiar, the Red Haunt reanimated Gregory through necromantic ritual, using pieces of other cats to replace tissue and bones that were damaged beyond repair, raising him as a Stitched-Flesh undead. Gregory has remained unfailingly loyal to his mistress, but every year on the anniversary of his own death, he stalks and kills a man who resembles his killer.

Appearance

While Gregory is as lithe and powerful as he was in life, careful observation will show that his body is composed of multiple felines. There is a feral and vicious intelligence in his mismatched eyes.
