Heroes of Chibiloft

Heroes of Chibiloft is a short article in Quoth the Raven Issue 28. It details an adventuring party of chibi characters, who are shown having mostly-comical misadventures in interlude comics in the aforementioned issue of Quoth the Raven.

2021 Lineup

The titular 'Heroes of Chibiloft' are:

• Aubert: A Lawful Neutral Cleric of Ezra and Voodan of Mistress Lethede from Souragne. Currently exiled for reasons of health. As in, his health is sure to take a turn for the worse if he ever goes home and the people who wanted him dead find out about it.
  • Patrons: Ezra; Mistress Lethede
• Comoară: A Chaotic Good Giomorgo Spellthief from Barovia. The youngest and most adventurous member of the group, she is as often the impetus for quests as the group's need to execute a tactical retreat from overwhelming opposition.
  • Patron: Mytteri
• Julio Huevo: A True Neutral, middle-aged Invidian Alchemist, who took to adventuring because he enjoys that profession's need for flexible and creative thinking, its access to discoveries ancient and new ... and because his medical practice in Karina blew up during his first adventure, and he got run out of town.
  • Author of the Cosmonomicon.
  • Patron: Ezra
• Ooglie: A Lawful Good Caliban from Darkon with a kind heart and a pure soul. A Rogue by profession at first, he became a member of the Monster Hunter prestige class thanks to an education received from the other members of the party, his having read the Van Richten's Guides, and plenty of hands-on experience with the darker elements of the Dread Realms.
  • Wielder of the oversized rapier Lancet.
  • Patron: Ezra.
• Slap: A Chaotic Evil (verging on Chaotic Neutral) Succubus from the Abyss and a Ranger, Slap never tires of causing low-level mischief, but is frustratingly reliable when the party gets in trouble. She is also their 'getaway vehicle' of sorts if they ever find themselves faced with closed domain borders. She seems to have a strong reason not to want to return home.
  • Patron: Mytteri.
• Slice: A Lawful Good Magus from Gothic Earth, Slice is undiplomatic, easily irritated, and carries a chip on her shoulder larger than she is. As she is also the only member of the party with noticeable strategic and tactical abilities (not to mention common sense), she is its de facto leader.
  • Wielder of the quarterstaff Twist.
  • Patron: Universal Life Church[1].
• Wick: A True Neutral Wizard of the Red Robes from Krynn, Wick always wanted to be a swordsman like his parents. Forced to flee his home world after he murdered his parents' killer, Wick eventually came to curse both Lunitari and Mystra for the way they tried to shape his life, and ended up in the Dread Realms. He still worships the two goddesses, but does not want to go near them during his mortal lifespan. He also still fancies himself a swordsman, but his advancing age has weakened his abilities in this regard.
  • Wielder of the longsword Leadenwolf.

2022 Addition

• Doctor Bill: A Faun scientist from an unnamed Prime Material Plane world, Doctor Bill entered the Demiplane of Dread both to escape his wife Urtica and because the notion of a world that actively punished misdeeds appealed to him. He has joined the Heroes of Chibiloft, apparently as a consulting scientist.
