First introduced in Quoth the Raven Issue 28 as a character in the Chibiloft comics. Slap is a Succubus from the Abyss who currently resides in the Demiplane of Dread, and has no desire to return to the cesspits of home.

Origins

Much about Slap's past is currently unknown. In 241 DR[1], she was ordered to seduce and corrupt Evanar, secret 'Mother of Champions' for Mystra, goddess of magic, on Toril. The attempt was an abject failure, as Evanar bluntly told the demoness that if she were willing to join the forces of Evil, she would have been razing Toril for a long time now - and promptly banished her back to the Abyss.

Slap's superiors were not pleased with her failure, and she was subjected to an eternity of torture so profound and grotesque that even a demoness could not bear it. Her torment would not end until a portal to the Demiplane of Dread appeared on the layer of the Abyss where she was being punished. Slap was given a reprieve on the condition that she go through the portal, then return and report on her findings. While Slap did limp through the open gateway, she made no effort to return and chose to remain in the world she found.

The Core

Slap spent some time travelling the Core, engaging in Power Rituals in Darkon, Tepest, Richemulot and Borca. Rather than build on her supernatural abilities by studying magic, Slap opted to become more physically formidable by training as a Ranger in first Tepest and later Richemulot from 694 BC - 714 BC, strengthening her unarmed attacks. From 714 BC - 716 BC, she ran a brothel in Pont-a-Museau. From 722 BC - 729 BC she masqueraded as the mistress of Robert Gauldamon in Levkarest. All these phases of her life ended with the invocation of Power Rituals and conflict with other creatures of Evil.

Slap was in Nova Vaasa from 729 BC to at least 748 BC, joining the faith of Mytteri in 741 BC after having witnessed the Grand Conjunction. She spent at least some time at the Kantora University starting in 733 BC, studying history, philosophy and religion, but did not bother to properly graduate. She spent all of 747 BC at the Clinic for the Mentally Distressed in Egertus, acquiring a basic knowledge of alienism and psychology before departing the domain.

Lack-Light

In 765 BC, Slap found herself in Lack-Light, though she had somehow mistaken it for Barovia. She encountered Wick and Comoară, who asked her help in escaping after the domain's borders were closed by the local Darklord. Slap agreed to help the two adventurers, using her Reality Wrinkle to get the fugitives out. Afterward, however, she demanded compensation in the form of a spot in their adventuring party, the Chibiloft Crew.

Personality

Slap is sly, commits minor crimes when she can get away with it, flirts shamelessly, takes a childish delight in shocking and scaring people (especially by displaying her true form) and enjoys playing Devil's advocate when speaking with her fellow party-members. When the chips are down and the group is in danger or otherwise needs her help, she is annoyingly ... reliable. For as long as Slap has been a member of the 'Crew, she has been loyal and an asset in difficult situations. When she enjoys the support of others, she is fearless and aggressive, showing a talent for teamwork. If alone, she is far more hesitant to put herself in danger.

Secret

While she definitely does not want to go back to the Abyss, Slap fears the Demiplane of Dread and the Evil powers she senses all around her. Her morality is slowly shifting away from evil to neutrality, not because she has had a great epiphany, but because she is suppressing her worst impulses for the sake of her own safety. Slap's feelings of vulnerability and insecurity are strong enough that they motivated her to seek religion, just to feel that little bit more protected: this is why she is a reasonably devout worshipper of Mytteri. It is also the reason why she is making an honest effort to be an asset to her team, and why her level of confidence and aggression equals the amount of support she is currently receiving.
